Report by the Attorney General.

Attorney General's Office, Hong Kong, 20th December, 1894.

I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, entitled "An Ordinance to further amend The Post Office Ordinance, 1887", and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the Governor's Instructions.

This Ordinance is passed in consequence of the Circular of 21st October 1893, from the Secretary of State to the Governor with reference to giving effect to the requirements of Article 2018 of the Vienna Postal Union Convention of 1891, by legislation if necessary.
